Is Zairos a trading journal?

No. A journal is a coroner. It documents what killed your account, the morning after it's dead. Zairos works in the moment, while the trade is live: it flags the breach the second you cross one of your own rules, and scores it on the spot, not tomorrow. A discipline layer, not a record.

I already use TradeZella, Tradervue, or Edgewonk. Why would I add Zairos?

Those tools review your trades after the damage is done. Useful, but they can't say a word during the revenge trade at 14:32. Zairos works in the moment, while the trade is live, not the morning after. Different job, different point in your day.

Do I have to give up my journal to use Zairos?

How does Zairos hold you to your rules?

You set your own rules once: your daily loss limit, a pre-trade gate, how many trades you take, a cooldown after losses, no trading during scheduled news, your trading hours, and how you exit each trade. During your session, Zairos reads your account live. For the rules it can see coming, the news window and the end of your trading hours, it warns you before. For the rest, it flags the breach the moment you cross the line. Every breach hits your Discipline Score in real time. It doesn't trade for you and it can't freeze your platform. It makes the breach impossible to hide, the moment it happens instead of the morning after.

What is the Discipline Score?

One number for the day, and you can always see exactly why it stands where it does. It measures whether you followed your own rules, your loss limit, pre-trade gate, trade count, cooldown, trading hours, news windows and exit discipline, not your profit. A losing day where you held every rule is still 100. You start each day at 100 and only lose points; you never buy them back. Not every break weighs the same: a few euros over your limit, the kind spread and slippage cause, doesn't count; going well past it costs hard; blowing through the line that ends your account turns the day red. Green is earned. Nothing else is green.

I broke a rule this morning. Is the day lost?

The day's score stays down: a breach doesn't get undone, and a good afternoon doesn't cancel a bad morning. But the day is a snapshot, not the main number. Two others carry the weight over time: a Consistency Score for your trend, and a Streak for clean days in a row. So the reason to hold the rest of the session clean isn't to rescue today's number. It's to keep the streak alive and start tomorrow at a fresh 100. The score won't soften that for you, and that's the point: a streak only means something because the number never flatters you.

Does Zairos place or close trades for me?

Accepted Answer

No. Zairos never touches your orders. It reads your account read-only and cannot place, modify, or close a position, and it cannot move your money.

Question 8

Why do I have to set fixed trading hours?

Accepted Answer

Because "I'll only trade my session" is a rule, and rules you keep in your head break exactly when you need them. You commit your hours up front, on a calm day. Changing the window doesn't take effect the same day, so you can't slide it around a trade you shouldn't take.

What happens if I trade outside my set hours?

Accepted Answer

Inside your window, Zairos watches every rule live. Outside it, Zairos isn't watching in real time. But trading outside your own hours is itself a breach, and it lands on your Discipline Score. The point isn't to follow you around the clock. The point is that you decided when you trade, on a calm day, instead of at 2 a.m. on tilt.

What happens if I blow my account or fail my challenge?
